Board Certified Behavior Analyst

What we are looking for:
  • BCBA Certification: Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, per BACB guidelines

  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field

  • Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities

  • Passionate about clinical quality and client progress to drive decision making and best practices

  • ABA advocate to ensure parent meetings/trainings are conducted, while also promoting services

  • Exceptional skillset with leadership, time management, and observation

  • Excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized with an ability to multi-task

  • Effective Collaborator and team-player, who is empathetic and culturally competent

  • Protect clients’ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulations

  • Develop and supervise training programs for staff development using evidence-based strategies

  • Assign a well-matched RBT or BT for each case.

  • Support the Behavior Technicians to ensure

  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate behavior-analytic programs and supports

RBT/BT

Registered Behavior Technician

Job Description
  • Provide direct care services and specialized care in daily living, social and recreational activities.

  • Provide assistance and support to foster maximum independence of individuals.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the individual support plan.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals.

  • Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities in the home and community.

  • Observe individuals’ behaviors and changes in physical condition, utilize prescribed strategies to assist the individual, and document and report accordingly.

  • Write and maintain confidential client case notes, billing information, and all relevant reports, as well as information for parents and other professionals

  • Participate in required 10-20% supervision per month with BCBA per month

  • Report hours planned per week to work directly with a client in ABA related services once schedule is provided

  • Perform needed housekeeping and cleaning duties (home and vehicle).

  • Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by the director

  • Protect clients’ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulations

Requirements:
  • Proof of high school diploma or transcripts.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

  • A valid driver’s license with proof of car insurance, a good driving record and your own reliable vehicle.

  • Experience working with children, children with disabilities, or adults with disabilities is a plus.

  • An unstoppable passion for excellence and an unquestionable commitment to those we serve.

  • Willing to work in Afternoon hours from 2-7 Mon-Fri.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

  • Must be able to react quickly and to respond to sudden movements of the client

  • Must be able to walk and stand 75% of the work day

  • Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, crawl and sit on the floor throughout the work day or for an extended period of time.

  • Must be able to quickly move short distances (up to 100 ft) to engage with client.
